Animal Heads

New postby SmilieFace on Mon Jan 17, 2011 10:44 pm

My friend wants to make a stuffed animal for his wall. Like a "hunting trophy," except it would be a stuffed animal. (see the attached picture) His idea is to make a couple of them, and then make up crazy stories about how he killed the animal. Apparently, this is how boys entertain their guests. :-P

Anyway, I wasn't sure how he should approach this. Do any of you have suggestions?

You could cut the head off a stuffed animal and mount it.
Or you could buy a stuffed animal pattern and fun fur and just make the head part.
I think it is a fun idea and your friend will enjoy playing the big game hunter. May be you could find him a pith helmet to go with the animals.

I agree with Dorothy. On all counts. The pith helmet would be hilarious.

I also agree with Dorothy (and Jan!).
I would love to see the finished big game trophy. :)
I'm creative. You can't expect me to be neat too.
