Long-tailed shirts and leggings

New postby susandf on Wed Jan 16, 2013 6:21 pm

Love the long-tailed shirts and leggings look that is "in" this season.

I made Vogue 8544 in a stretch woven and it worked under two different 10+ year old blazers that I still had in the closet.

I already cut out another one from a linen knit that is more translucent - but it will eventually warm up here in Arizona, so I need to span the seasons. I plan to wear it now over a long sleeved white t-shirt and when hot - over a cami.

Love being able to pull an outfit together using the "ancient" pieces from the back of the closet!

Susan, it looks lovely. I love the neck detail on your shirt.

Very nice indeed. Here in New Englad, especially at my house I would need long sleeves and thermal leggings.

Looks great! Lucky you to be able to wear leggings. I'd love to but my thighs wouldn't like it at all.

I thought I might need to make it a long-tailed skirt for just those issues too.
