I once saw Coco Chanell on The Art Linkletter show Back in the 1960's. She sent two men out to buy new shirts and then she critiqued their choices. I was watching on black and white TV but it seemed to me that she was a very plain woman. If you have seen the animated dvd/ The Incredibles, the character that designs the super hero costumes is a caracature of Coco Chanell. Sometimes I would like to have TV to watch Runnway and Movies like the one you just brought to our attention. I'd also love to watch Sewing with Nancy.
Actually with the Hulu option, you have the ability to download to your computer, and then watch. It works really nicely for dialup. For the others, well, I have a progam that will download the youtube, etc, so that I can watch them also. I think the name is youtube grabber, but I will double check that one. You just have to remember to delete them when you are done watching so that you don't fill up your hard drive.
I hope I can add wireless internet and a new computer next month so I wont fill up my poor ooooold computer hard drive. It struggles now. I really do appreciate the links though. It is so nice to have friends to come to the rescue.
I watch programs sometimes on the computer as you can go to the channel & watch full episodes. This is especially true if I have to miss a show I want to watch. For Project Runway, go to http://www.mylifetime.com to watch the episodes. Also, YouTube has a lot of sewing videos of which some are great and some just ho-hum. Just go to http://www.youtube.com & click on their search bar for sewing. There's a wealth of information available at one's fingertips. Marty
