Stress Relief Gloves

New postby Bama on Sat Aug 18, 2012 9:54 pm

Has anyone tried them for knitting or crocheting? My hands (especially my right hand) are beginning to ache more and more after crocheting. More so with crochet than knitting though. I saw some stress relief gloves in the yarn section at Joann's today and wondered if they help. Anyone?

While waiting for a bus one day, I talked with a woman who was using one to crochet. She said she couldn't crochet without it. And it was a green one that she bought at JoAnns and I think it was reversible...meaning that it could be turned inside out and used on either hand.

I bet you could buy one, use it for a week or so and return it if it doesn't help. (Just gotta keep your hands clean!) :D

MIL uses two, one on each hand (obviously) and can't knit without them, she really likes them. I'm ok as long as I don't marathon knit! (like more than 2 hours at a time.)

Thanks ladies. I'm going to try to get to Hobby Lobby soon and buy some. I can use a 40% off coupon there.
I've been crocheting for about half an hour and my hand is already bothering me. :(
