Retreat time again

New postby carman on Thu Sep 27, 2012 8:29 am

yipppeee its retreat time again, this time its with my quilting guild, leave this afternoon and come home Sunday :-) this time of year the retreat center is sooooooooooooooooooo pretty as all the leaves are changing and falling and there is a crispness in the air every morning. i LOVE fall. hubby is out of town too right now so puppies ar going to their hotel today too, they LOVE this place, no dog runs, nothing but a HUGE HUGE warehouse that they have divided up (big/small dogs) that has someone there 24/7 and they can play with who ever they want or sleep where ever they want, on the floor on a bed :-) the first time i took them they were not sure about going through the door, NOW, its see ya and they are almost scratching at the door to get in lol here is their link, do you any of you guys have a place like this around your areas? http://www.chasin-tails.ca/

Carman, enjoy the retreat :) I would love to be going with you. Is this a different one from last year? Great doggie hotel as well. Trust Calgary to develop the concept  I was scrapbooking our time in Calgary just the other day. Take care.

Happy sewing/quilting, Carman! I wish I could go on a retreat...then maybe I'd get more done too...LOL. I've been procrastinating most of this week. But I have signed up for a one day UFO/WIP day put on by our guild, but that's not until January. I'm sure I'll have more than enough to work on then... :(
