OK, I've gone over the archive for storing and some of you store in plastic boxes, some in the rolling carts, and some in baskets and others on the wooden racks. I'm trying to come up with an easier way to store all my serger threads because the drawer that I keep them in is full and I have to move furniture around just to get to the drawer and I have the habit of not putting it away when I'm done with it because of all the moving I have to do. If I keep in the drawer I'm going to need to rearrange my room and I don't see that happening as the room is full now and everything fits where it is. Basically the only space I have left is wall space over my cutting table. I've looked at the thread racks at Joann's and Hancock's and have coupons so they wouldn't be but so expensive but I would need at least 4 of the cone sized ones. I read where someone put plastic covers over their rack to keep the dust out but not sure if it would be effective here. (Live in the country with fields for farming all around and there is a lot of dust). Anyone have anything to add? Still happy with the way you store thread?
