If I am one you are talking about I am sorry to have been so misunderstood. I am on a limited income, and can not afford to try several different items to find a good one. I found a good brand years ago and I stick with it because it is what I can afford to use. I use a lot of craft mediums because that is where my interests are. At almost 80 years old, I do not need any more 'stuff' in my home. I am trying hard to downsize, because every room is too full. I have bins ready for the battered womens shelter to take off my hands, as I am sure there are women there who did not pack much to reside there and maybe can use some of my stash to create a garment for their children or themselves. (Wherever needed) My sewing/crafting keeps me busy and healthy. Sorry for my 65 years of sewing and crafting experiences have offended you. I certainly meant no harm.

NanaBear, I'm sorry to read that you no longer find joy on this forum. I don't know of any divas on this forum but I do know there are a dedicated few who love to chat, share their creativity, and sewing adventures. After all of the hard work that Kaitlin and Bob did to create this forum, there are a few of us that keep it going. I find a lot of members are very willing to help others and share their knowledge. Life has its ebbs and flows so there are times when the forum is very quiet and other times when it is quite active. I can only speak for myself when I say that I enjoy this forum and learning from others with more experience than I have.

I still love to come by this forum to aee what's up and any new things people are working on. I don't think anyone meant to offend. I still have questions even after sewing for 35+ years. I hope this forum never closes up shop! Even though many don't come by anymore I still like the info they have given me over the years. Even though I may "friend" them on Facebook I still ask my sewing questions here.
