Hoops for 19010 Elite Ergo 3 Embroidery Machine

New postby analacana on Wed Nov 17, 2010 6:48 pm

Hello, I have seen this group but have never participated.. Hi.. I have a Kenmore Elite 19010 Ergo 3 Embroidery Machine. I have had it for six or seven years. I am limited by the 4" by 4" hoop. Does anyone know if there is a larger hoop available for this machine?

I believe "Hoop-It-All" has some larger hoops that may fit your machine. Remember that your machine will only do a 4 x 4 design so any larger designs would need to be split. Janome hoops also may fit your machine since Janome makes the Kenmore line of machines. Hope this helps & welcome to the group.

Welcome from me too! I had an older embroidery machine that was limited to a 4x4 design size, so when I bought my new machine I made sure I got as large a design area as I could afford so I could do the bigger designs, sure is nice not having to try splitting designs!

Thank you Laura and Marty. I have pretty much mastered the splitting but it certainly is time consuming. I am trying to convince my significant other to help me in investing for a newer machine. We went to a Janome dealer and learned that they have a newer machine but we are looking at a Viking Diamond. It should be a significant step forward from my trusty Elite 19010. I wonder how I might be able to sell the Elite. Do you all have experience with that? Thanks

I did a trade in on mine and got basically nothing for it. Unless you can sell it locally in the newspaper. Or Craigs List.

Janome hoops will indeed fit this machine (I know because I have one) There is also a yahoo group for this sewing machine that is really great. Very active member roster. Lots of information, tutorials, manuals etc. I strongly recommend it. The max size on our machine is actually like 5 x 4. I have the original large round hoop, but I purchased a janome rectangle f hoop because it uses less stabilizer. Hope to see you in Yahoo group.
