Rules For Bingo Games

Every month we pick a topic and play Bingo.

RULES: Topics to be picked by all players who help find the words.

1. List is posted previous month , you pick 25 words from the list and send it
to the person running the game for the next month. Deadline is 11:59PM
of the last day of the month BEFORE the game begins. You will receive a
confirmation that your list is received, if not contact caller to make sure
they have received it BEFORE the game starts.

2. Each day a list of 5 random picked words or grouping of words is posted.

3. Mark off any words from your list that have been posted.

4. Once you have ALL 25 WORDS, you type "BINGO"!!! The first one to post
is the winner.

5. One person, who volunteers, will send the winner a prize. Price range
(to include shipping) to be between $5.00-$10.00.

6. YOU ARE TO HAVE TONS OF LAUGHS AND FUN!!!!!!! NO GRUMPS

7. If you are making the master list you should have 5 times the number of days in the month. No more, no less otherwise the game will end short or run over into the next month.

I would love to play, but don't quite get it. Can someone explain it to me.? Are the words in the list or is there a formula?/

Leighana, I'll try to explain it for you.

Pudge99 has started a new topic, December Bingo. A few posts down, she listed 150 Holiday Songs (the word list). To access this post directly, click here: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=867&st=0&sk=t&sd=a#p11752

Of this word list, choose 25. My way of doing it is copying the whole list and paste it into a blank word document, then delete all but 25. Once you have 25 song titles , save your file, copy your 25 words, and paste them into a PM for Pudge99. To do this, all you have to do is click on any post by Pudge.

Half way down the page that comes up, in a slightly different colored section of the page, It will say "Contact Pudge99". A few spaces down, in regular type it reads "PM: Send private message " click on this, as it is a link.

A message window, much like an email window, opens. Pudge99 has already been chosen as the recipient, so you would give the subject (December Bingo), and in the message box, paste your list of 25 "words", which in this case, is song titles. Add any niceties, such as Thanks, or Pudge is Wonderful, or whatever sentiments you would like, and click submit. You will have sent your private message.

Now comes the fun! Every day in December, under the December Bingo topic, our caller (who this month is Pudge99, aka Gina,) will choose 5 words (song titles) and post them. Check them against your list, and let us know how many you have. This continues until someone gets all 25 of their selected words. The last days, it is a race, as there are often several on the verge of winning. The first person to get all their words called posts "Bingo" and wins the prize. This is a friendly game, and have a ton of fun.
