Oh Carman, that's awful ... you're in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, the out of pockets expenses will be minimal and insurance will cover the majority of the damage. Please stay safe and in touch.

I am so sorry to read this. Know that you are in my prayers that all gets sorted out with your insurance and you can rebuild or find a different place. Glad to hear noone was injured.

we don't have to rebuild, just gut one room and a restoration company is coming and taking EVERYTHING out of the house and cleaning it ALL, salvaging what we can and then deciding what to with what they don't think is worth saving and then painting attic to basement, with re-insulating too upstairs and the basement as it creeped. insurance should be paying the whole thing, was estimated at $250,000 the other day, but they are really taking their time the nit wits

Wow... insurance companies..s***** at paying... many on here at different times have had dealings for various things so we all feel your pain at playing the waiting game with them..
