Ok, attempt #2 here I come. I made it across cyberspace without being vaporized and tried to post and lost it some where in the draft - oh well. Glad to see so many of the SWNers making themselves at home. Got to go scout around now, and get some sewing done before the MIL phones AGAIN wondering why the coat isn't done. Jeez!

I'm so glad to see so many SWN'ers around here! I'm sorry for the confusion. I'm not sure what the plan will be for the sewingfriends site, but I plan to stay with Sew What's Up for the long term. I invite everyone to make this their new "home" - the more we can keep things in one place the better, since there is no way to transfer posts over from sewingfriends or Sew What's New.

DH (Bob) has posted some pictures of the process of creating Sew What's Up - you can look at them here: The Creation of Sew What's Up.

THANKS KAITLIN for all you and your hubby's hard work. i have one request could you add a thread for UNDERSTANDING FABRICS as we had in SWN. I LEARNED SUCH ALOT WITH THAT THREAD AND WITH ALL THE NEW FABRICS IT CAN GET VERY CONFUSING, ESPECIALLY FOR NEW SEWERS. LYNNE
