I feel 30. Then I walk past a mirror and realize I'm much closer to 50 than 30. :anxious: Every now and then I catch a glimpse of my aunt MaryJo in the mirror. ;)

Sorry about your sad news Laura. :( (((hugs)))

I can relate to seeing my older relatives looking back at me from the mirror. At first it was my older heavier sister looking back. Now it is my grandmother. Dorothy, I plan on working till I am 70 or longer if my health allows. The way I feel lately though, I may apply for social security by next year and make the life adjustments that reqiuires. You ladies have a great day. I am going to try to be more productive today. I may have already posted this but will post again. My long time best buddy came to the house Wednesday and helped me finish going through my clothes and tossing unwanted stuff. Now my closets only /mostly have things that fit and that I am pleased to wear. I still need 2-3 more pairs of scrubbs, some panties and a few winter items. Hopefully I will feel motivated to sew with a plan or get busy making a few Christmas gifts or finish some ufo's.

The older we (my family) gets, the more they look like my Gram. First it was Aunt Marge, then my mom. I saw my sister a couple months ago, she now looks like Gram also. Gram is the only "older" family member I ever saw as most were already deceased. Even my uncles (mom's brothers look like Gram when I see them which is rare).

I saw someone I went to school with today at WalMart, he walked by and I thought "that looks like Tim" and as I looked back, he was looking at me to see if he knew me. We talked for a few minutes but the whole time I was thinking "boy, you look old" and he was only one grade ahead of me!

I have done that a few times with people we used to hang out with, I don't know why they are all getting old & I am not! ;)

We spent the day today @ the lake we used to vacation at when we were kids. It brought back so many happy memories. & it seems like it was yesterday they happened

Barb, am so glad that you had a great day at the lake with your sisters, nieces & nephews. That's one major thing that I miss is getting to spend time with my extended family. No one lives within 400 miles of me & most live 800+ miles away. They seldom visit Memphis & I cannot travel anymore. Everyone is living their own life without family support or connections unless it's facebook. Even trying to call them is a hassle as it goes to voice mail 98% of the time or they changed their phone number & didn't let me know when it was changed. Very sad.

My hands always remind me of my parents. I have my Dad's hands with my Mom's wrinkles! :D ;) Sounds like fun, Barb.
