I just went through some of my fabric and sewing books and got rid of 1/2 a bin. Plus I won't be bringing any scraps home from my class on Sat, so that's another 1/2 bin gone. And I ripped up 2 rose bushes and a few plants in my front yard that were annoying me. I'm getting so that i like the minimalist look!

I need to get motivated to work on the wedding quilt. The shower is next weekend and I haven't worked on it for over a month, maybe two. I got discouraged because I wasn't going to get it done in time for the wedding (and some other factors) so I just quit working on it. Now I have a week left and I only have 3 out of 11 rows done. I should be kicking myself in the bum. Oh well, DS got his quilt 8 months after his wedding.

MQ, I figure if it gets there within a year of the wedding, then it's on time. LOL!!!

Think of it like when you go to a fine restaurant - good food takes time to prepare. Same goes for quilting! If you want a gorgeous quilt, it takes time!
