Is it the meds or the heart or a combo of both that are making you so dopey? Can they change the meds?

If Dorothy is on betablockers, then part of her tiredness is the meds. I have just been reading up on them and started on a new one called bistolic and it is not supposed to cause the tiredness but I have been less than productive this week, even at work.

It's both, I guess. Plus a natural inclination toward laziness I think.
And every time I get used to the meds and muster some energy they up the dosage.

Each morning/early afternoon when I wake up & get moving, I take 14 different pills for one ailment or another; then 3 hrs after my last meal I take another 13-14 pills plus an insulin shot. I've been doing this for over 10 yrs now. Some days I have spurts of energy & get a lot done & other days, I have little to no energy. The defibillator is supposed to help with that but other than pain around the incision area, I cannot tell if it is doing anything or not. At least, I'm not getting shocked. I think that a lot of it is if I sleep soundly the night before as to whether I have energy the next day or not. Lately, I haven't slept well because our bedroom window a/c unit was broken. Now, we have the new unit installed so I'm hoping to sleep well tonight & catch up on my sleep.
