A very quick and easy top to make. I only ran into trouble sewing in the sleeves - probably because I had never done it before, plus I had wanted to sew the sleeves in flat but forgot until after I had already sewed up the side seams. So, I sewed them in round (?), which was a bit tricky. I used my serger for all the construction except the hems, for which I used a twin needle on my sewing machine. It's a bit on the loose side, even though I am between sizes according to my measurements and made the smaller size. It is wearable, but I think for the next one I might try some adjustments - either making the next size down altogether or narrowing the shoulders and tummy area on this size. I will definitely be making this one again -- possibly another one of this view, and I'll definitely be making view C (the crossover style).

This is the first top from my SWAP wardrobe. I had intended to wear it under a jumper or jacket, but I think the collar might be a bit too "stand out" for layering. We'll see. I will definitely get a lot of wear out of it on its own. Thanks for looking - comments, questions or suggestions are very welcome as usual! :D

Lovely top Kaitlyn. You are certainly doing very good work for only starting to sew in the past few years. I like the collar and the shirt looks comfy. :)

Great job Kaitlin. I agree with you, I'd take the shoulders down one size as it looks fine across the bustline.

Good job. My sewing looked nothing like this when I first started. The first few pieces I made only got worn around the house once. I can imagine what you'll be making in a year or so. :applause:

Holy smokes, Kaitlynn! If you turn sideways, you'll disappear! I know it's off topic, but it is striking what you have done for yourself. <pat on back>
And the turtle neck is nice too :)
