I was out shopping for fabric to make duvet covers for my daughter's dorm room. We had to take photos because the two roommates live in different states and they had to tell me which fabric they wanted. Thought I'd share. I was at Golden D'or (Murray Goldberg) Warehouse Outlet in Dallas. It was about 108 outside and about 99 degrees in the store this day.

They did choose the one that looks like a white beaded curtain, and another one with a swirly pattern (second from the right in the lineup photo). The duvet covers looked good when I left. Who knows what they'll look like at the end of the semester.

Oooh, I like those!
And you look remarkably good for being in such heat! And to think that I'm complaining with my balmy 98F with a heat index of 104!

I love all of those. I don't know why b/w combos just do it for me. I'm on a break from them for a while though since that's all I was buying for quite a while! I'm sure the duvets came out great. I know I'd like them. Being busy prints I bet they'll hold up real well to dorm life.

Love the fabric! B/W is always such a great choice, and you can always pump it up with almost any other color.

I've been saving B&W fabrics to make a B&W quilt one day. Those are some great choices!

A B/W twin quilt has been in the works for well over a year. It's for dd now 18 who complains all the time that I make time to do other projects but haven't finished her quilt yet. It seems that I must get it done by Christmas but right now I'm so busy with my dress and projects for resident bazaar at work that I just can't work it in. I like to do one or two day projects that I can finish and see the results right away. I had a few issues with the B/W quilt and when mom was here last Summer, she fixed it for me but it's still in the "do it later" pile. I'll post pics when I'm finally done with it. I love those fabric choices too.
