MOB dress

Here it is; my MOB dress. I know, I know, it looks kind of weird just hanging there but it's really nice. It's just hard to photograph. I LOVE the print. It's a very, very stretchy, rather heavy lycra type knit. Don't know exactly. I'll look. It's 95% viscose, 5% spandex. Luckily I'm adept at alterations because I don't like the way it just spans my chest. I feel like I'm all boob. I'm planning to add rusching down the middle to break up the boobage. Not too low though. I also need to configure the straps a bit to cover up bra straps. The dress has gathering under the bust and a strap running through casing in the back and front. The strap goes over the shoulders so like a halter everything is able to move around a bit helping with the fit. It comes to just below the knees.

The pink in behind the dress is the wrap I found.

I love it. I think it will be perfect. I'm very into bright colors these days, so this is just what I like.

Really bright...and I love it too. I have to go shopping for a dress for my niece's wedding at the beginning of Aug. But her wedding is going to be a little more formal than your daughters... :(

Perfect & adorable, Lennie ... I think that you will be uber comfortable with some cute strappy sandals. I love the colors.

That is so cute! I love the colors in it!! You could get a little purse in any of those colors, just for the fun of it! Along with your cute strappy sandals!!

Thanks, everyone. I'm glad it's a hit with all of you. Hopefully tomorrow I'll do the adjustments. Shouldn't be a big deal at all. I love brights, always have. I guess you like what compliments your looks and pastels make me look green and awful. I can't believe we're only a week away. Wish I had a bit more color to my skin but we've only today gotten the hot sun. Poor dd has a heck of a bad cold and she's scared to death it'll only get worse. She's coughing up green stuff so she's hoping the dr. will give her some antibiotics tomorrow.

I have to say although I was prepared to pay much more the dress cost a whole $24.99 at Marshall's and the shawl a mere $7.99. Crazy, huh? I'll have to check for those strappy shoes. I'm pretty sure I've got some somewhere.
