Hi all I finally made it over here. Suzy told me about this site Wed at the quilt shop and this is the first time I was able to make it over here. A little about myself, I am a retired housewife and mother of two boys and 3 grandchildren. I have been sewing since I was in jr hi school and quilting since I moved to La 2 years ago. I work part time at a quilt shop for fabric. I enjoy all of our swaps. I am excited about the civil War Swap and hope some more of you will be joing us.

Patty you don't have to tell her that she's on my back all the time as it is. I went there today and didn't get a chance to talk to her the whole day she was so busy. But she keeps me in line every now and then she passes me and whopps me on the head. I have my fabric I just have to make time to sew my blocks. Okay Barb Wednesday I'm coming to sew and it's not going to be Dear Jane blocks it's going to be Civil War blocks. How many of these little critters do I have to make. OH and by the way, Glad you found us I just sent you the link via email .

You lucky little devil Bren. How many nascar races you need in one year??? LOL Maybe you can put me on your calendar next year when they build the track close to us. By the way all you Nascar fans they are building a huge track close to us out here in the country. How about that? I move out in the country and they start building tourist attactions on top of us. Have fun Bren and call me when you get home.
