bwhahahahahahah Jan.......too funny.

BTW... my DD is thoroughly loving being in your country! She went to a classical concert last night at a church in the center of town and said it was so beautiful.

Oh Patty, it is beautiful. :applause: It makes me want to get right at mine now. I wonder what my principal would say if I put my machine up on my desk at school.

Patty, it looks lovely. I haven't quilted mine yet, although it's sandwiched and pin basted, ready to go...

I went to a concert in Ely Cathedral where Yehudi Menuin was playing ( jazz violin) sooo many years ago. As the light faded from the sky the stained glass windows went dark and the bats came out and flew down the nave. Magical. What town is she in Patty?

Jan, she's right in London; the address is a bit confusing to me ......Westfield Way? She's staying right at Queen Mary. Her flat mates are from Russia, Ukraine, Japan and Australia.

I'm waving at you tech! The weather has been so beautiful the leaves are refusing to turn colors. It was 85 yesterday when the weather is normally in the 60's. I'm not complaining as it has been wonderful. I'm making some slab pie this morning with all the extra apples on the trees. They are so full the limbs are bent to the ground.

The quilt is hitting the mailbox this morning. Simply attaching a note saying who it is from and including Dorothy as the Alexander Henry fabric is from her stash when she moved last year. :D Isn't this fun!

Tend to call London a city myself, Patty. Queen Mary is in East London not far from the Mile End Road. I was at the University of London myself $%£^$%£ years ago, but at Imperial in South Kensington - just down the road from Harrods....
It is fairly multicultural where she is - hope she is having a great time.

Exciting news re the quilt.
