Infant sized poodle skirts?

Halloween is less than a week away and I've been asked to come up with something for the twins, now 3 months old. While I'd love to do something like Raggedy Ann/Andy or older brother a fisherman and two fish, etc. I just don't have time to figure out cute coordinating costumes and don't have any patterns/materials on hand anyway.

Poodle skirts are quick n easy, I think I can do them and they can wear them with a white onesie. I found plain white shoes at WalMart for $5/pr and can use double sided sticky tape to attach black felt cutouts to the sides so they look like saddle oxfords.

I measured them last night, 16" waist and 7" length. I have black, white, pink and blue felt already in my stash. I think I'll make one pink, one blue and add black poodles.
