How would we count count UFO's? The yardage requirements on the envelope?
What about those people(quilters) whose stash is mostly small scraps?
How should they measure yardage?

I have tended to measure the yardage of the finished item when piecing - it's inaccurate but better than nothing!

Quilters could do FQ measurements- even with the smaller pieces they use. If it is enough fabric to fit into the size of a FQ than there is a half yard.

Books are a pretty safe idea for a prize. Of course it should be sewing related. Or you can make basket of sewing themed items to give. Lots of places are doing clearances now, so you can put up things pretty cheap.

If you all trust me enough. I could take up a collection of money and build a goody basket from that. The money would not be required to enter the contest, but if you wanted to contribute you could.

Like GrandmaC, I've never entered a challenge. Will you post rules or whatever before we start?
