Help!
I'm working on more blankets for the orphanage, and I've come across a problem. The blankets are 2 sided, with 2 coordinating flannels. I've learned to trim the material first and make each piece the same size before going forward. So I've ironed a piece that has a print of squares with different pictures in each block. I've ironed it, and matched the selvage edges together to get a flat piece, and trimmed it with the folded edge against my straight edge. The blocks do not go straight across, but sag a bit as if they were hanging on a line. Do I ignore the print and go with what I know is the straight(est) cut of the material? Or ignore my edges and go with the print?
