Snuggle Flannel

I'm going to be making a bunch of 2 sided flannel blankets, and I was wondering how badly it shrinks, and if it shrinks weird or shrinks proportional?
Is there anything funky about it I should know?

I would prewash it at least twice. I have found that flannel shrink differently so you might have a mess if you don't prewash.

Also, finish the edges before you wash it. It unravels like crazy. I just pre-shrunk a bunch of flannels and was amazed that the colors didn't run. I even had bright red and blue.

Great! I'll serge and wash twice. I appreciate the tips. I don't want to have a royal mess on my hands with these 12 blankets.

Wash it in hot water and dry on high.
