Unfortunately, Denver Fabrics (the website) is now owned by the Fashion Fabrics Club people and they have exactly the same stock. The only difference between the two websites is that they run different sales.
Dorothy - I'm still getting used to the costs of shipping - that is maybe on the high end, but not out of line. I have a bit more confidence in their fabrics (Vogue Fabrics) than I do in Fashion Fabrics Club. I suppose shipping just has to be figured into the price of the fabric. I guess I wouldn't want to order just one cut from them, but maybe if I got the fabric for both pairs of pants it would seem more reasonable...
I guess this all just brings home the point -- it's hard to shop for fabric online. Since I have plenty of sewing to keep me occupied for now, I'm not in a rush to order - I might head to the inconveniently located "finer" fabric shop across town or maybe even make a pilgrimage to Nancy's Notions which is 1 1/4 hours away. Of course, since I'm on spring break, I've been sick with a nasty cold. I've been avoiding leaving the house, but hopefully by later this week and the weekend I'll be less of a public health risk.
