Not a lot to say about this one! The pattern has a HUGE number of reviews on pattern review - I'm not even sure if I'll post one. The pattern was even picked as one of the top 15 patterns of 2007. It was super quick to sew up, and I love it! My only complaint is that I cut a size smaller than I usually do, since it seemed to have plenty of ease and my fabric has a good amount of stretch to it, but it is just a bit too tight in the waist. Of course this is my fault since I measured the midriff panel and it was big enough, but I failed to take into account that the ruched overlay is actually narrower than the midriff panel. Sorry the pictures are a bit grainy - I guess my flash isn't quite bright enough.
I did the hems with just a regular straight stitch this time, since I forgot to buy an extra spool of matching thread to do the twin needle stitching.
I tried sticking a bobbin on the pin for the extra spool, but that didn't work at all. If DH were around, I bet he would have helped me rig something up. 
Anyway, like I said, this is very very quick! I cut out all the pieces last night, then did most of the sewing this morning and wore it to a party today at 3pm. I changed the order of construction so I could sew the sleeves in flat and then stitch the side seams and the sleeves in one shot. I did all the construction on my serger, with some basting on my regular machine to make sure all the seams would match - of course one side matched up perfectly on the first try, but the other side took 3-4 tries basting... Why does that always happen? Does anyone else have this problem?
