I'm back!

Hi Everyone. I'm not sure I had a chance to post at all before I went away for a spell. I'm back now from a very good vacation. We went to Boston for a couple of days, and then the White Mountains of New Hampshire. What an amazing area to explore! It was one week away for us. It was good, each and every day of it, and then it was just the right time to come home. I'm happy to be back, and also happy to rejoin the crowd here on SWU. It's time to get back to my craft, I'd say. I'm rocking away with my little quilting betweens, and some time in the middle of that will need to work up a Halloween costume for DD as well as _something_ for myself. I'm organizing the program for my sewing guild's fashion show in October, and I haven't even thought of what I might like to include of my own!

Andrea, welcome back. Glad you enjoyed the White Mountains. I spent many summers there with my Grandparents. Did you drive up Mount Washington? If you think the area is pretty in the summer you should go up during autumn. Driving thru all the Notches and Gaps are breathtaking.

We did drive up there, Brockie. It was gorgeous. Yeah, one day we'll have to travel there in autumn for the foliage. Then again, with children in school.... I wouldn't want to go all that way for a just long weekend over Columbus Day, KWIM?
