Happy New Year! We are going to have a quiet evening at home with the kids. I don't like to be out on the roads on New Years Eve (well...after dark, anyway). DS & DD are trying to build a fire in our little patio fire pit, then we will sit out there for a while. People have been setting off fireworks here for a while, you can hear them going off all around us. What is everyone else up to?

Our daughter is hitting the party circuit with a group of friends. Hubby & I are just enjoying the peace & quiet at home. I'm watching Toddler & Tiaras reruns. It's always more about the moms or spoiled brats than it is about the children and the competition. I enjoy the children's clothing and am always wondering "how did they make that fit?". It's mild entertainment. I stay far, far away from any type of fireworks or displays of such. I cannot even stand to watch it on TV.
