At that point I would get rid of my email!
No way I would be able to wade through it all! You must be an incredibly patient person, Marty!

My Marty, you must be very popular! I couldn't deal with that either. I easily keep it down to about 10-20 in my mailbox at any given time.

Heading out for another long walk with the dogs. The weather is gorgeous. Just got back from volunteering at the library bookstore for two hours. Cleaned and shelved tons of books. Time flew by. Lots of folks around and a decent amount of sales.

Dinner.........baby back ribs maybe? Yeah, probably. Picked some up on sale the other day. That, a baked potato and a salad. Bang! Decided!

We had hamburgers with Grapes & blueberries since I have the grandaughters tonight & they wanted to buy healthy food at the store. Then they each ate a handful of messy Chips (Doritos) & 2 or 3 shortbread cookies each.

Home from the seminar & hubby cooked dinner - baked chicken, sweet potatoes, & cabbage. The seminar was wonderful & I got a lot of goodies including a book on digitizing & machine embroidery that Walter Floriani autographed for me. I hated to leave as I could talk embroidery with Walter Floriani for hours. He is so warm & personable. I was even able to recruit some possible ASG members while at the seminar. My knee is in a brace & did not hurt today.

Came home, sat in the hot tub with DH, started French Onion soup for supper which is simmering, having a glass of wine and thinking about how precious life is.

I've been trying to get back into the routine of going to bed and getting up early for work after a two week vacation. We've also been busy this week getting DD ready for 2nd semester. Whenever she's home I find myself doing nothing but sitting and talking to her.
We had a salad for supper. I didn't have time to cook tonight. I made a grocery run because we're expecting another big snow. I knew if I waited until tomorrow to go, it would be a madhouse. Can't let the cat run out of kitty litter if we're snowed in for a couple of days! :o The forecast is predicting from 4" to 8" accumulation on Sunday night. Some charts are saying 10". More than a couple of inches usually shuts down everything in this part of the country. Hoping for a snow day Monday. It has been years since they've predicted that much here. I just hope the power stays on. The blizzard in '93 (16" of snow) was a 5 day nightmare.
I'm creative. You can't expect me to be neat too.

How do I express my day. I had a problem child, (was shipped to me from another salon, I had to make them happy...) I steamed, then pressed , a gown that had the stiff, almost hard stiffness under layer, not a sack lining. It still looked wrinkled after steaming and ironing. Long story short, I took the gown into the pressing room and pressed it in front of them and it still look wrinkled. They still were not exactly pleased, but understood that it wouldn't look any better. This was my working day.

Today my quilting buddy came over for a sewing day. I was helping her make a fabric bowl. While she was making it I was quilting on my friends quilt. We had beef stew that I made in my slow cooker for lunch...started it around midnight Thursday night. It was delicious with some Eurpoean bread from the bakery. Then tonight we had ham quiche that I make with Stove Top stuffing. And some apple crisp for dessert. It was a great day. Now that I no longer have to work, we're gonna try to have a sewing day more often.

Sounds like a lovely day Judy. Tomorrow, I must organize my bedroom closet & hope to have some sewing time for me. Re: emails, I belong to almost 30 online sewing/embroidery groups that I get emails from. I like to read all of them as it helps me to learn more about sewing & what others are doing especially when I'm on bedrest. Over Christmas, I didn't read much so they got back logged. AOL must have thought that I had too many as they removed anything that was more than 10 days old. Grrr ... I do like to read all of my emails.
