Okay, I'm working on two items but I can't tell you what they are. They're for the Halloween Swap organized by Lori. Top Secret!! Only 1 person here knows what they are (it's not Lori, you know who you are) and she better not be talkin' !! :shame: :D

I am having fun with them though! :D

I must go and sew on the skirt I am making for PSF (pear shaped friend). She tried on the sloper and liked it so much that she asked me to add a flounce so she can 8-) wear ) it. I have a 6 goered skirt started and she wants a brown one made of some suade cloth I have in my stash. Oh, I put on a perfect centered zipper on this one. The zipper pull shows but matches so it looks ok. Thanks for all the advice on zippers. I think I will soon be putting them like a pro.

I'm working on Halloween stuff too. But tomorrow I HAVE to (really really have to) start on DD's dress for a wedding in November and DGD's halloween costume. My sewing room is a disaster again. When I started on these Halloween things, I had a nice little pile of fabric, and somehow it turned into two monster piles on the floor, on either side of my ironing table. But I'm having fun too!

Dorothy, you put a bird on it!

I'm finally getting to sew a top that I cut out in early spring - the pattern is Simplicity 2364. A fair amount of paperwork and other junk has Invaded my sewing room in my absence, but for now I'm just working around it.

I got most of my sewing room clean. The corner not clean is full of flannel for a baby rag quilt & scrap basket that I pull from for craft shows. Hopefully that will get cleaned up soon!

No sewing has been going on since I have been dealing with school stuff since August 20th. However, I have 2 baby ensembles due this weekend so tomorrow, when the house is quiet, I'll get them cut out & maybe on Thursday & Friday I'll have some sewing time. Wednesday is booked so no sewing then. I think that I can get them whipped out.

I also worked on some Halloween items today. :D All of the fall colors made me want to get out my fall decorations. I might start doing that next weekend.

I'm thinking about moving my sewing room to the basement. We have a den downstairs that we don't use anymore now that our kids are grown. I would have lots more room. I just have to talk DH into installing better lighting. :anxious:
I'm creative. You can't expect me to be neat too.
