I am getting no where with this - not off the starting blocks yet! Looks like my next time to sew will be AFTER christmas - where's the good in that?!

Well Jan I went backwards this weekend by going to an auction. There were boxes and boxes of fabric available and I came home with several. I still have not finished the ties I was working on.

Well, I finally started sewing something out of stash today! But I don't even have enough to count 1/4 yard yet! Sheesh!! Love the snowman pot holders and your 'Vanna" is adorable!!

Finally I have some yardage to post. I made a blanket and a kennel pad for my new puppy. The pad used the remaining piece of foam from my magic cube. It was kinda cool that it fit exactly. I used about 1/2 yd of pink soccer ball flannel for that. The blanket used 1 yd of fleece and 6 yds of bias binding (can't count that in my totals but I am glad to be destashing).

Matron of honor's dress is done except a little hand sewing. I need to check yardage & get a picture.
I also got the wedding veil done.

I am dropping out of this one.. I am too busy with projects to have to do all the research to learn how to load photos . It takes me a long time and the instructor has to be a perfect instructor for me to learn from. Most all young people have no concept at all of what it takes for someone my age to understand all the latest electronics. My Sister is a perfect example. She just says "oh you just do this and this and this and you are done.. WHAAAAAT????? So, I am just getting my Christmas sewing done and I am happy with the situation and no worries about a learning curve right now.. I am going to request a class be given on that subject at our next Adventures in learning classes Maybe we can get that in Feb. when the next session starts.
