I actually made a skirt for myself, I don't think I've made clothes for myself in about 10 years. I bought the fabric 3 years ago to make a dress to wear to my daughter's wedding but ran out of time and had to buy a dress. I'm planning to make a top to go with it but have to get another pattern.

Re: 2 Yards!

I sewed up another 2 yards making tote/grocery bags from some fabric that I just put in the charity box this afternoon! It is actually quite pretty, but I have a headache now, as this was from someone elses stash before it spent the summer in my stash, and it stinks! It is a mystery fabric, some kind of cotton with a shiny finish. I'll try to get pics of them tomorrow. I made 2 totes following directions, then I looked at the scraps that just called out to me "little girl size totes!"...well who could resist that????

Anyway, all of the stuff from this stash screams 1970's, so I'm guessing this stuff is old.

I hope they survive the washing machine ...

Three pairs of mens board shorts for DS. Then I washed his rag quilt, and now I have to go back and fix some of the rows where it look like I accidently snipped the threads on the rows. I had a few choice words when I pulled it out of the dryer, but better me finding them than him, cause it'd never get fixed if he finds them!!! That gets me over the 90! WAhoo!!

and coming up on the last hurdles now it is Bama in the lead with, wait, Bridesmom has leapt the 90 yard hurdle and is coming through on the inside still ahead of Momofsix with Pucktricks leaping in behind. Bama and Esrun3 are competing for the next position and the other runners are strung out behind....

What will happen in the last few furlongs...

11 yards

4 yards black cotton print- "the quilt". Only counting what was already in my stash. I've had it for about a year.
2 yards pastel fleece- 2 baby blankets with braided edges. One pink, one blue print. Lily got two tiny blankets from the edges I cut off.
2 yards black fleece- wrap for myself. I've had that fabric for about 2 years.
2 yards Winnie the Pooh fabric I've had about 3 years- baby burp cloths.
1 yard various cotton prints (I'm estimating) - 6 oven door dress towels. The towels were new so I won't count them.

The burp cloths and the blankets are for gifts for two different friend's new grand babies.

I've barely made a dent in my stash, but used up a lot of my Christmas prints. I hope we can start another challenge in the new year. I've been so good lately not buying new fabric. :hand: Even when I saw Christmas fabric at 50% off yesterday. I'll wait until it's 75% off. :P ;)
I'm creative. You can't expect me to be neat too.
