I made 2 halloween bags today. I will try to get a picture tomorrow. I put a wire ring inside the top so they stay open for the 2 & 3 yr olds to use.(not my idea I saw some in a store & thought what a great idea).

6.5 yds

Good grief, I can't believe how much sewing you can get done when you put your mind to it. It helps that I've been home sick for 4 days too! Made another long sleeved t-shirt that I am just ok with - 1.5 yds. Then I made a short sleeved t shirt I love!! 1.0 yds. Lesson learned, the $1.99 knits are usually $1.99 for a reason - don't buy them for anything except kids t-shirts!!
3.0 yds for the tweed jacket for my granddaughter, tweed is interlined with pink flannel, then the lining is cotton with batting inside it (didn't count the batting in my yardage!) Can't wait to give it to my daughter (Pic is in completed project forum). And a pair of cream cord jeans for the 2 yr old using 1 yd that was leftover from the coat I made her last month. The last two items have been in my cut out basket for a few months, just couldn't seem to get excited about sewing them up. So they are kind of UFO's.Today, I'm into using up my knit fabric for tshirts!! Then I have to go back to work for two days, so I will be at a standstill for a bit.

Well - I am finally off!! Even with the OU/Texas game I managed to squeak in a little sewing time. Actually I spent a couple of hours first cleaning and semi-organizing my sewing room. I did finish 2 outfits for great niece - a yard for each AND used 2 tee shirts out of stash and appliqued them to match. And I made DGS Birthday outfit (1/4 yd) I used a RTW pair of overalls and appliqued a train around it to match his invitations. Will post pictures soon. Thanks for the motivation!!

Well - actually 0 yardage to report. But I did get a UFO off my back. I embroidered names on adult bibs for my friend's mom and her room mate at the nursing home. 10 big bibs out of the sewing room :D WooHoo!!

No yardage to report but the quilt top is done. Rhythm & Blues is the name of the pattern. Gotta joing the backing pieces and will probably send it out to be quilted. 80x80 is just a bit too big to wrassle thru the regular machine.

You gals are steaming! :celebrate: Just remember to change those needles after 8 hours of sewing and clean and oil your babies too. ;)

Finally jumping in. I made a child-sized tote bag out of fabric I've had for about 1 1/2 years. It's a purple quilt print fabric with a purple floral lining. Child-sized bags did not sell at all this weekend so I'll probably concentrate on medium & large sizes for a while. I'll use up more fabric that way too.

If the bibs were sitting in your stash then they count.
