At Walmart. I got VIP fabric for 99 cents a yard. As I walked past the fabric department to go to electronics with my son, the saleslady told me it was marked down today. When she finished cutting, she asked me if that was all I needed. I think she's used to seeing me there. :D

I went back and bought 30 more yards this afternoon. I just kept thinking about what I could do with all of it for next Christmas. The saleslady said she knew I would be back.

You never know Libby. None of my family members here seem to have the fabric gene.

Seriously, I do have some relatives in Ala.. My Great Uncle was Dean of Agriculture at Auburn for years, and the Agr. Research Bldg is named for him.. His family all still live down that way as far as I know.. His brother also settled there and has family members still around there.. I think most of them are around Montgomery and Auburn, still.. Originally from SC, the name is kinda different.. Funchess == My Grandfather was their older brother..
VIP is my favorite fabric in all the world.. I have never found a bad lot of it.. It never shrinks or fades either..

Well, all I can say is congratulations to everyone, and to you Lori for winning! This was my first stash challenge and it was a blast! I didn't realize I had so much fabric and when I cleaned up my room, I am amazed that I still seem to have the same amount left over. I tried really hard to avoid the Christmas fabric sales but today in my search for spider webs I did pick up 4 yards of Christmas fabric for $1/yd at Walmart.
