The twins on Nana's quilt

Here's a picture of Shane & Kyle on one of the quilts I made for them. Mom wasn't sure she wanted to use it. She was afraid they would get it dirty. I told her I made them to be used and they are washable. After this picture, the quilts were taken upstairs and draped over the ends of the cribs. They probably won't get used unless I am there. Oh well, what can ya do?

Thank you, thank you. They are adorable and so cuddly too! Big brother is a little jealous, as to be expected from a two year old. He has set the 'wonderful' bar quite high for his little brothers to try to achieve, but I think they'll be up to the challange. Now when #1DGS gives you a hug, he pats you on the back like he sees everyone doing with the babies. I am just lovin life as a Nana and want to spend every available minute with them. DDIL is very appreciative of my weekends there so far. I hope that continues! She told me her grandparents were coming on Saturday for a visit but quickly added, 'but you'll still be here!' I told her it wouldn't be a problem to go around the corner to Joann's for a few hours while her family was there. ;) :D

I always try to carry the big sister or brother a little gift when I visit a newborn with a gift.. You don't know how much that helps til you do it a couple of times.. Right now, in our church there are a couple of little boys who smile really big every time I see them.. One tells me he still wears his angel every day. (made from the oversized paper clip and a bead on a ribbon)
