Irish chain

This was made for a friend who loves blue and yellow. I wanted to make the colour wash from one end to the other (it was from stash and I didn't have any more material than this!) My friend is the one who gave me dustbin bag of offcuts much to my ever loving husbands horror so a return quity seemed like a good idea.

It is very basically quilted along the chains - no imagination there - I have got better since then but have not had a picture to share.

Geez...I posted earlier but it seems to have disappeared. Guess there is a first time for everything.

Jan..I love the quilt. I can see your design elements in that Irish chain. Very nice!

Jan, that's lovely. I'm envious of your fortitude.

Oh, is that your house there over your head? (I've noticed your life can be a bit of a circus from time to time........ ;) ) Kisses!

Love it! I really like the Irish Chain and would like to attempt the double Irish Chain someday. That is really pretty Jan, I like how you have done the color change!

It was a touch windy that day..hence the use of some spare teenagers to hold it out!

We were at church camp some time ago - I had to wait to photograph it there as I had not got into the habit of photographing them after I had made them then.

You can see my shower in the top left of the picture Lennie. Top right is the Tatie Tent ( Baked potatos)
