Baby boy quilt

New postby bridesmom on Fri Mar 14, 2008 10:33 pm

Got a nephew due to arrive in May so finished this off tonight. The green border is also the backing and is a real kelly green, the blue a royal blue. Doesn't show well in my picture, but it's laying on my NEW carpet!!! I was going to attempt planes and stars, but couldn't get the hang of the planes, so stars it is.

That is very cute! How do you do these quilts so fast? Goodness, you have done a bunch!

Is it machine quilted? Do you draw your design on before you quilt, or do you just "let her rip" and quilt where you feel like it?

Your carpet looks great!
