My house is tri-level and when I go up or down the stairs I have to take mine off if I am wearing them. Thank heaven for the chain hooked around my neck.! ! LOL Specially going down the stairs is tricky with the glasses on.

Woo Hoo! I got them today. I LOVE them. I can see so much clearer now. It is funny that I really didn't know how bad my regular vision was until I was sitting in his chair trying to read the eye chart. I'm off work now until Monday, so I have a few days to get used to them before I try to work in them.

Just practice the action of moving your eyes only up and down, not your whole head as people are prone to do with new bifocals. You will get used to it in a hurry if you concetrate and practice just a little bit first.

I am still loving my glasses. They are great for all the homework I have for my manager classes. I spend a lot of time looking up at the computer and then down at my workbook. I am finding that I may need a set of "cheaters", as you ladies so fondly call them, for reading in bed. I'll keep using them through another book just to make sure before spending the money.

Gina, I think you need to change your profile pic to the one of you smiling with your glasses. Glad that you're loving them.

Marty,
I'm gonna go get my hair done this week and then maybe I will change my picture to a new one.
Forgot my glasses when I went to class this morning. Teacher wanted me to read something and I had to pass it on to the next person. How embarrasing  .

Oh, don't be embarrassed. I very often ask some "younger" person or someone with glasses to read a price tag for me. I'm also very often surprised that something that I thought was priced $10.99 was actually $18.99........... or vice versa.
