Suzy aka Mother-in-law

New postby MartySews2 on Tue Jul 24, 2012 7:59 am

Suzy posted last night on FB that she needs prayers for herself. She's been having stomach acidic issues & is supposed to go in for a GI scope on Thursday morning. I got her permission to post this. I thought it was funny that she said that she thought this forum wasn't active since so many jumped on the Facebook bandwagon. LOL!!! I assured her that we are still here & miss her.

Paula, here FB name is Suzy Dauterive Moore & she is working at Sew Pieceful. She was having a GI scope done on July 25th. This was posted on July 26th ...
"This is Susie's friend kathi. She asked me to let you know she is home from having her hospital tests and is resting. She is ok but they did find some cysts in her kidneys and she has to follow up with a specialist. Her liver is also inflamed and I think she has to take some meds for that but she will give you better details when her anesthesia has worn off. Basically she is ok but has to get some follow up care. God is good". Piney, on Aug 2nd, she & Raymond celebrated their 43rd anniversary. She posts mostly on FB now when she has time. I think that she spends most of her off time in her sewing studio. It's huge with a kitchen & is next door to Raymond's workshop. Like the rest of us, life keeps her busy.

I used to get personal e-mails from her, but the last time I had computer problems I lost all my e-mail contacts. Have no way to retrieve some of them. FB is the only way I have of keeping tabs on Suzy and Bren both.

Wow, 43 years is great! I must admit I keep my FB window open as I surf.

thanks, Marty...I had lost touch but thought of her often. I do know that St. Bernard is finally re-building after katrina and she has lots of family there but she seemed to be happy across the Lake...Will reach her on FB...
