sewingmom, I cannot really afford that with DD in college. Right now it takes most of our extra money to pay for her gas, groceries, school supplies, car insurance, etc. I hope she'll be able to find a job near home and work all summer. She hasn't had any luck finding a job around school, other than babysitting occasionally. Too many students competing for jobs, I guess. She has put in over a dozen applications. The only ones (both restaurants) who called her needed someone to work the closing shift until 2:00 am. We told her NO. Maybe she'll have more luck when she moves home for summer and can save some money for next fall.
If I ever hired a housekeeper, I'd probably have to straighten up my house before they got here anyway.
