Sorry ladies. I've been busy painting my living room walls.
I'm so glad you're joining us Carman!
I'll try to get the guidelines sorted out and post a new thread later today.

I've been sorting through fabric and bought some fabric for the item I am going to make. I'm getting really excited to do this!

I think I just had a brainstorm ! ! I was having trouble with 1 item, but all of a sudden something I thought of for another category, satisfies both of them.. Now that leaves me free to think of something entirely different if I like.. Its still early and I may change my mind several times between now and deadline day..

I did the same thing Libby. One of my items could be two different letters. I'll have to see what else I come up with before I decide which letter to assign it to. ;)

Boy I am really behind! I haven't started on anything yet. I thought I would wait for the official rules & who I am buying it for
Maybe if I get some sewing done tonight & get my room cleaned on Saturday I will start on something next week.

I went to Joann's today. At least four letters down now.
I've been thinking we should give a couple more days for sign ups, then close the swap instead of waiting til the end of August. That way it might make it easier to pick our items, knowing who to "hunt" for. Is that okay with everyone?
