OOOOO, I'm drooling!!! I love it!! How many times did you have to wash it?
Hope DD's ok too!

I am trying to do a shrug for me, and of course it's a big rectangle and I'm having a bear of a time trying to get my edges to go straight and not off on an angle!

The Hoodie of DOOOOMMM!

New postby Magot on Tue Oct 23, 2012 12:34 pm

Thought I'd give you a laugh - I got the pattern of Ravelry and misread how to make the hood. I though it was a little large as I sewed it up - sewing instructions didn't quite seem to work. After I had blocked, like a good girl, and sewed I realised I had made too many pieces for the hood and sewed in 2 fronts..

Looks like a coolie hat rather than a hoodie for a Zombie killer. ah well, ripping out time is upon me. Trouble is - I am so good at sewing things up I can never find where my stitches are to undo anything...

Get back to that rice paddy, woman! :D :D :D :D :D Makes me think of Theresa's sleeve! Still makes me laugh.

Thanks for the complements on my bag. I used it today going to the library and running errands. Dd's tarantula bite was such a non-issue. Just what I had read. She said it felt like a pin prick. There was no swelling. She cleaned it with betadyne after taking out a miniscule stinger. That stinger (on the side of her thumb) was in pretty deep though. Well, now we've experienced that!

My next project: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... -shawl-689 I started it last night and boy, that Amazing yarn is sticky! Going to try real hard not to goof. What's strange is that this pattern is for knitting but the end result looks like crochet. I'm guessing it was originally crochet.
