Here's a site about "Mathmatical Knitting". Started by retired math teachers in England. Maybe you're familiar with their work. Lots of stuff on their site. I read about this in "The Knitter's Life List" book and immediately thought of you. :D Finished reading it during the night and there's so much I want to check out from it.

I've done a variety of mathematical knitting - DNA, moebius strips, Fibonacci sequence and I plan on a Klein bottle hat but these guys- SO Prolific!! They stuff is amazing - what a pity they don't publish the patterns free....

Wow, that is amazing! Who would have thought that putting mathematics and knitting or quilting together could create such amazing pieces of art! I would love to create like that rather than relying on someone elses patterns!
