Oh Brockie, that is encouraging news. I will still continue to pray that all goes well and little Abby doesn't have any residual effects from the surgery. (((HUGS)))

Bless her heart--she is so small and precious to have to go through something like this. Praying for all to go well and she recovers without any problems.

Update on Abby. The respirator came out last night, 1 IV and the urinary catheter are all out now. She still has 2 IVs running plus 2 chest tubes but the surgeon is very pleased with her progress. She's been taken off the heavy duty pain meds and is on Motrin. DD said that she drank down 2.5 ounces of breast milk (DD has been faithfully pumping thru all this) and didn't spit up. DH and I are exhausted so won't visit today. Will be going in tomorrow to let DD and DSIL have a break.

Love knowing that prayers are being answered. Will continue prayers until she is out of the hospital and home again.

Our prayers have been answered. Abby has an excellent chance of being discharged from the hospital tomorrow. She had all sorts of cardiac tests done today and if they come back good she will sleep in her own crib tomorrow night. That is 3 days sooner than the surgeon had predicted last week when she was admitted to the PICU. Thank you all for your continued prayers, it means so much to my family and proves that there is power in prayer.
