Grandma again

New postby sewingrandma on Tue Sep 24, 2013 9:09 am

DD # 2 finally is pregnant! :D She is considered high risk-age and other health issues so we are all praying for a healthy outcome as this has been her dream for many years.

Thank you for the prayers. I can hardly wait to start sewing for the new baby. I don't want to start too early and DD doesn't want pastel colors only bright colors so it is going to be hard finding baby prints in the deeper colors she wants.

Hancocks has bright flannels in baby and child prints. I buy them there all the time..I'm like your DD I don.t much care for pastels. The brighter the better for me.

It's a Girl!! Now I can finally start sewing girly things.
All DD's lab tests came back perfect too so we are thankful. She has started her second trimester and is feeling better though still tired.
Thank you for all the prayers you have been sending, they are still needed as the pregnancy is a high risk one.

Wonderful news! Does she have a due date? Have fun sewing up a storm full of frilly lace and lots of pink.
