I tried clicking on your link but gave up. Not dial-up friendly. :( I like Carol Doak for paper piecing. Not that I do very much of it but it is good once in a while.

It;s got to be frustrating with dial-up. I have high speed cable and it's slow now. I got my Quiltmaker magazine today and have already started hunting out the fabrics for the Halloween wall hanging for DD. I think I am going to attempt it before the class, I think if I just take it slow and easy and follow her directions which seem really easy, plus the pattern is already reversed so I won't make it backwards.

Laura, I just got an email newsletter from Quiltmaker and they indicated that the pull out pattern pieces in the magazine were printed wrong...at 97% instead of 100%. And the numbering on Section 6 foundation for "Did someone say Treat" has a mistake. You can download the corrections here...

Judy, what a help for Laura. I'm sure she'll appreciate that. You might have saved her a lot of trouble. :applause:

I think I've found out that this particular quilting magazine is subscription only. I looked in drug and grocery stores, K-Mart and finally JoAnn's and couldn't find it. Oh well. I did look online and although the "Treat" wall hanging is cute I can live without it. I guess I was more looking forward to the paper piecing instructions that Judy said were very good.

Lennie I bought my copy at the local grocery store last week. I just purchased my subscription so I won't get the first magazine until the next issue. The little Halloween project isn't really overly exciting, but DGD will love the animals in costumes. I think I am also going to try her Frankenstein block as well which I will buy when I take the class.
