Peasant Top

New postby temom on Tue Mar 11, 2008 6:10 pm

I made this on Sunday for my daughter. She picked the fabric out on Friday, along with a coordinating fabric for shorts. I will have to trace a new size for shorts, that is for sure.
This is Simplicity It's So Easy #3743, a very easy top to put together. I think I spent more time ironing the casings for the sleeves and neckline than actual sewing. I did the seams on the serger, and the hemming and casings on my sewing machine.

I just love that little girl's big smile. She always makes me smile when I see her. Great top. Does she like to pull the elastic neck down around her shoulders?
That's what my oldest always did when she was little like that. Still does I guess.
