Have any of you lined anything with heavy clear vynal(never could remember the spelling). If I was starting from flat fabric I probably could figgure it out but suggestions are apppreciated.
Think I will de-construct the overalls into flat pieces and then go from there to make the diaper bag. I need to patch and embroider it some any way. It needs a lining and pockets and I need to make the straps and bib front work as a flap and a shoulder strap. This is stash that I have needed to use or discard. I'd rather create with it.

the only thing i have used is the stuff that is used for waterproof jackets, and it's quite soft. I'd think it would be very hard to try and sew if its what I'm thinking it is. Is it like the stuff that you use for over tables?

For sewing on vinyl, you would use a teflon or roller foot, lengthen your stitch, & go slowly.

My vinyl is the sort you put ove a a table. I've seen it inside hand crafted diaper bags but never have seen it put in. I guess I could go to the dollar store and get a flannel cated vinyl table cloth. They are soft.
