Thank you everyone. :) You are all so kind :angel: And cool. 8-)

I questioned using the red and black lace on a child's costume, LOL, but in this instance, it works. I had cut the black underskirt too short(mixed up the pattern pieces for the brown and black skirts :doh: ). Of course, it was easy to shorten the overskirt, but I didn't want to hem the black one, so I just hid the raw edge with the lace, using a zigzag stitch to finish the fabric edge in the process.

It 'seams' that I always have to fix some booboo or the other!!! :shock:
