Vogue pattern 1385

It is a blouse pattern but I have seen it made up as a light weight jacket and it is beautiful. No closures, tunic length with patch pockets added. Since Hancock's had Vogue on sale today I bought one. Don't know when I'll get to it but I'm going to try soon.

It looks lovely, Brockie!!! What fabric will you use? Can't wait to see the finished garment.

I haven't really decided that yet. I read the directions over tonight and Sandra Betzina ( she designed and wrote the pattern/instructions) said she used a lightly quilted silk for her jacket. I also read some reviews on Pattern review and everyone who made this blouse loved it and how easy it was to make. One of them said it was in the last Vogue magazine. I saw it on someone's blog and fell in love with it. She had used a heavier fabric like a brocade and it turned out beautiful. I've got so much sewing to do before the granddaughter arrives next month I don't know when I'll get a chance to look for fabric at this point.
