You probably make decisions faster than I do, Dorothy. I would never have minded sitting there for a 1/2 hour or so but for me it was usually an hour and a half! And then half the time they'd be out of the one pattern I decided on! Still can't help that.

We are going to get to see pictures, right Karen???

Lennie, when I'm ready to buy patterns, I lie down on my bed with my laptop on my abdomen & go thru all of the pattern catalogs & jot down what I want on a tablet. I study the line drawings to see how complicated it would be to put together before I decide if I want to buy it. Then when I go to the store, I know what patterns that I'm going to buy & for what price. The aisles in the stores are so crowded, it's hard to shop from my wheelchair especially around the pattern catalog table.

Guess I never said which pattern I finally decided on.. http://www.simplicity.com/p-6356-its-so ... swear.aspx
I made it longer also, and had to make it a bit larger :( :( ( Have gained some wt back :( )

Have a ?... I want to add a white "fur" on the hem.. right now when I try it on, it does "kiss" the floor a smidge..But I think a white fur hem will bring it together. I also did the pockets in the white fur and I am going to add the white fur at the neckline too to bring it together, wearing a white turtleneck under neath and putting some of the red "fleece/fur" fabric on my old pair of boots.
So, anyway, my ? is how much of a hem of the fake fur should I put on the jumper? I was thinking about 2 1/2 inches.. any ideas?
I have to get this done.. we have to do Mr Santa and Mrs Santa next Tues and Wed.. I have horribly procrastinated sewing this... its my own fault.. I just ignored it..

Also going to make a mop cap to wear and have ordered a Mrs Claus white wig to wear..
